Specifications
Main Structure
• 45° Slant-Bed Lathe.
• Monobloc Meehanna Cast Iron (GB300) Bed.
• Using FANUC αP series wide-range spindle motor can provide high torque at low speed.
• X-axis is orthogonal to Y-axis at 90°.
Avoids movement error of the virtual Y-axis.
• Y-axis travel ±50 mm.
• KL-852MY Sub-spindle change to programmable tailstock.
• Using Duplomatic 16T power turret imported from Italy.
• Fanuc 0i-TF controller / 10.4” LCD.
Power Turret
• Using Duplomatic 16T power turret imported from Italy.
• Specification of tool holder: VDI-30 Axial / DIN-5480.
• Radial tool-disc and L-shaped body are suitable for main and sub-spindle machining, and can increase the length of the rear side tool.
• Powered by FANUC α2 spindle motor 2.2 / 3.7 kW.
Spindle Synchronizing (KL-852YB)
The sub-spindle can precisely clamp the workpiece from the main spindle under simultaneous control at the same rotational speed, and then carry out backside secondary machining of the workpiece, which not only saves the secondary machining labor, but also reduces the time and precision error of the secondary positioning setting of the workpiece.
Programmable Tailstock (KL-852MY)
• Difference from KL-852YB is that the sub-spindle is changed to programmable tailstock.
• Spindleless tailstock design to avoid spindle fitting errors.
• Tailstock movement is programmed to match the machining operation, which makes the operation easier.
• MT#4 Morse Taper Live Center. Other types of centers may be available.
